    No. There are some basic management features that would be considered
a critical part of any sort of server/service/daemon

...an embedded OS that runs 1024 CPU NUMA systems.

   OTOH, mysql doesn't even come with automated crash recovery "out of the 
box". This greatly reduces it's usability even as an "embededded DB".
