Except I don't think that's the reason for it. More that he's trying to
cram in a lot of content in relatively little time, and something has to
give - proof-reading is the most obvious choice for that. At least he's
being honest about his sloppiness, which is more than some would be.

Maybe. Just seems a petty matter to digg down for. If they're digging down
for the content, I can understand, but just because he's not interested in
spelling and grammar, and will admit it? A bit whiny and pathetic, would
be my judgement of such types that dugg down over that.
