Yep, multiple sclerosis.
sclerosis is a good description of what will probably happen to Novell.
It means "hardening", eg, arterio-sclerosis is a hardening of the
arteries, destroying their flexibility and hastening the likelihood of
rupture. The "embrace" doctrine of windows allows little flexibility.
