Unfortunately, I wasn't at Debconf this year.
However, I watched the talk and, without being explicitly mentioned, he
mentioned
my work on subsurface and suggested that I should not waste my time on this.
He also complained a few times on the subsurface mailing list about my work.
However, I am more disturbed by your email than the talk by itself.
AFAIK, he was invited, he expresses strongly his positions, fine.
I don't think this deserves any action from Debian and I would be very
unhappy
to see this outcome.
