Indeed. Furthermore, if I had understood that a decision had actually
been taken to dismissed my complaint, I would not have started this
thread here.
(Although, to be fair, I would probably still have started a thread on
-project about what I see as the process problems.)

It should be pointed out that of course I'm not rhetorically
bludgeoning Linus (even if that was what I intended, which it isn't)
