Are completely on-topic. As Microsoft is the biggest threat to
open-source and linux, and MS themselves indicate that Linux is one of
their biggest threats, then showing articles which relate to MS and
their fortunes is of great interest.
If you don't like them, you can, naturally, killfile them.
