Mini Triathlon Done, Competition Over
was not able to reproduce an achievement I had attained 2 years ago, as well as 3 years ago. Although I did my best in this years’s Mr. Fitness competition, another participant, who is also a tough competitor, did brilliantly. Fortunately he is a friend, which by all means makes me happy for him.
Although I was expecting to have won the mini triathlon — that which was completed this morning — overall, I am expecting to finish in a repsectable second place. Well done, Mike Coogan. You deserve the big trophy this year. I will still have my memories of some older and more successful endeavours…

Hi Roy,
Thanks for that. Like yourself I have left the Gym whilst the conference has been on, I decided to use the time as a break from gym work. Well done in the triathlon by the way, oh and also the 10k, you won them both by a landslide as i recall. I wonder if there will be a meal in our honour like the last time, we could combine it with a cheeky little trip down to the nuclear sub?
Been really busy with the new job which is quite tough. It’s not always a surprise when you start somewhere new and all the work nobody else wants seems to land on your desk, better days will come.
We have a 3 day trip organised for Hamburg next week through my employers. It’s a team building thing, not that I’m into team building, everybody just gets drunk and tells lies, but I am looking forward to visiting Germany. Maybe we could meet up sometime this week for an eat all you can and we could have a chat about Herr Deuchsland?
I hope the shoulder/arm injury fares well, and i shall see you this week.
All the best,
Mr Fitness 2006

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the compliment and the heads-up. I’ll definitely give you a ring once my pile of work is set aside. We’re probably on the same rough ride, but at least I got that writeup out of the way (temporarily, only to be replaced by other chores).
