COVID-19 in the UK: Deaths Soar to About 1,000 a Week as Hospitals See Rise From About 10,000 Patients to Almost 20,000

If you think this thing is over, you’ve been conned

THE NHS numbers are out again (they skip weekends to preserve the illusion that this pandemic has been placed on the ice or brought under control). How many COVID-19 patients are in hospitals? The official numbers are 3 days old, so expect over 18,000 by now.

Only a month ago it was about 10,000.

How about deaths. Like hospitalisations, they’re nearly doubled. In the past week alone:

998 deaths

Also of note, we’re hitting the highest number of hospitalisations per day since early January (from left to right: Date, followed by number per day, then sum/total to date):

Nice job, Borisnaro. Your “freedom day” has cost the lives of about 30,000 Brits already.
