Hospitalisation means that something went very wrong. It also compensates for the artefact of “under-testing” — a growing problem as people don’t report infections and mostly keep that to themselves, unless or until they come to the hospital.

We’re fast approaching one millions hospitalisations, having already surpassed 200,000 deaths.

The main difference is, the government became indifferent and the weekly mortality reports have not been issued in nearly a month.
