E.ON (E.ON Next) Tried to Force or Trick Me Into Talking to a Chatbot, Not Staff of E.ON

They should know better than that; it insults the customers

I find myself having to talk to a person every year or so (usually 2 years) regarding energy bills at E.ON, aka E.ON Next. This year they have a chatbot with voice. If you say “speak to a person” like 10 times you get to an actual person. It’s not easy, but still feasible.

Once I spoke to an actual person everything was very nice, smooth, and both sides were happy.

The freephone number is appreciated, though the clients pay for it as part of their bills.
