Spending a Decade Explaining Lawfare is a Public Service

The public and our politicians need to know

Two years ago I said I’d likely spend the next 5 years writing about lawfare. Earlier this year I corrected myself and said a decade or more.

I meant it when I said it the first time, it’s just that there’s more to cover and more material becomes available than I can cover (or things happen more quickly than I can properly cover them).

Sometimes I need to stop and do an “outline”, then assess how long it’ll take to cover it all thoroughly enough.

The order of the coverage matters a lot.

Someone has asked me to “move on” (with “my life”), but he is just projecting. Merely explaining how lawfare works in the UK (it’s bigger than just one firm) is prerequisite for change and I’m in a position to explain what happened.

Transparency is not negotiable.

ManCity for Liverpool FC

Just went past the new City Store

Team news coming SOON for Liverpool v Arsenal

Today is one of those days ManCity fans cheer for Liverpool.

Liverpool needs to win in order for ManCity to remain on top of the league.

We’ve just returned from ManCity’s stadium, not many birds turned up today, but a wide variety of species.

Some squirrels climb up unusually high (on trees) and it’s still rather foggy, albeit not as hazy as this morning.

ManCity’s relationship with Liverpool is changing as the “Gunners” become the more potent opponent. A decade ago it was Chelsea.

I plan to write a lot this afternoon. I took a nap on the bench at the park (while sitting down of course), it was very relaxing.

We have an intentionally slow Sunday.
