BBC on Stockpiling for Emergencies

This has become more mainstream

TODAY in BBC there’s this article about preparing for emergency in case of war or weather calamity. Everybody knows (common sense) that when our government advises us all to stockpile food it mostly has Russia (or Putin) in mind. Since we are in NATO, if Russia was to invade Denmark or Finland or Poland tomorrow, we’d send British planes and troops there to help. At that stage, we’re participants in a war against Russia and then striking out of service or electric grids can be seen as “fair play” (at wartime).

BBC News is trying to be instructive without becoming alarmist.
