Life goes on

think it is fair to say that our life this year has been good and we’re more productive than ever before. Tomorrow it’ll be exactly two years since we sued Garrett. We sued him in September 2024 [1, 2]. We didn’t invest much in our lawsuit because, according to legal professionals, even if we won, he would not pay. He was already broke (his wife shed light on that), he lived in another continent, and he had really bad character.

We move on with our lives and we do what we can do best. We curate links and publish many articles.

Be prepared

rowing up with many dogs, I loved dogs. Don’t get more wrong, I’m a “dog(s) person”. Years ago we thought about getting a dog ourselves. We ended up delaying and we only bought things for a dog, except the dog. Delays delays…

We have one neighbour with a Bully XL. I don’t like those dogs (the breed) because I don’t trust them. I’ll probably never trust any Bully XL, not just because of what I read in papers (they even murder their own elderly owners sometimes) but the actual ban on such dogs (and sometimes “culls” too). The UK identified them as unworthy of the risk.

I’ve had to mentally prepare for a scenario where this one Bully XL goes berserk and decides to attack me. I’ve decided that because this dog is short-legged and clearly overweight sprinting away from it would be effective enough; he cannot catch me and I can run for a lot longer before stamina becomes an issue. This Bully XL is around 60-70KG, it’s very short, and it’s just a “fat boy” basically. Second option is, hop on the roof of a nearby car. This “fat boy” cannot even jump over his home’s fence, surely a car would be “too tall” for him. Failing that, in case I need to wrestle such a dog, avoid neck bites or falling to the ground. Fatalities won’t be possible due to a bleeding leg or hand.

Of course they could just put a muzzle on this Bully XL. But guess what… of course they don’t and lecturing an old lady about it ain’t “my cuppa tea”.

September is a time to learn

What a start. So I’ve managed to publish a lot today, get some rest, get exercise done, make some good food.

I’ve long planned to take it up a notch on September 1^st and there’s no disappointment. The faster pace is maintainable too. I can’t see why not…

Despite bullying (the bullies think the person they bully is not entitled to holidays) I’ve had good rest, did a lot of housekeeping, and now I feel ready to rock until Xmas Eve.

This morning it’s too cool to leave the doors open

ardening season is drawing to a close. Maybe one more month and that’s it. This means more time indoors and more time writing. How cold will this winter be? With climate collapse, anything is possible.

I’ve meanwhile noticed that despite us devoting no more than 5% (of all posts) to writing about litigation, the person the litigation is about has flooded his social control media with quips about it (about 80% of the latest 10). As I pointed out last year: “We should note that 100% of his social media posts from December 15 until December 23 were about us, which seems obsessive/compulsive.”

Welcome to September

late hard-earned goal put Arsenal ahead, but Manchester City is still on top of the league. So welcome to September, at long last we’re “after summer” based on one particular calendar, which means I’m taking it up a notch with my “friend” coffee and with strong ambition to go ahead with several ongoing series.

It’s not just Gregorian calender

rateful for the long vacation (staycation this year), it has only a few hours left to it, then we wait until Xmas Eve. There will also be some football later tonight, tomorrow it’s back to normal, formally.

So we’ve managed to visit a lot of places, do a lot of exercise, prepare a lot of food, and tidy up everything, not just digital stuff.

2027 is looking like another year of conflict of Ukraine and maybe beyond it [1-3]. I keep watching the news about that war (every day since it began!) because I fear sooner or later it’ll expand to NATO territories.

Putin would rather destroy his country’s people and diminish the economy than admit that he was wrong and foolish.

Our vacation comes to an end

his morning we published this latest part in a long series, explaining why – as our Jewish solicitor at the time might put it – Garrett ended up in a broch. His online behaviour for many years made this inevitable – he was mingling with the wrong people to cause trouble to people more far qualified than himself.

There’s a lesson somewhere in all this.
