Fake Activities Online

It is probably not a controversial thing to say (widely known among media people, as they’re among the greater culprits) that many “followers” or “likes” in social control media are fake, paid for, not organic at all. It’s a whole industry of fakes and cheats who try to look important and/or popular.

People who get off this hype train recognise that whatever happens in social control media sites bears little impact on the (rest of the) world. It’s a bubble, a stupid popularity content.
