IBM September Layoffs (2026)

This won’t be the last. The below is only the beginning.

IBM has announced a reduction in its workforce at the Rocket Center facility, impacting approximately 100 employees. This decision follows the non-renewal of a significant services contract with the Internal Revenue Service. The federal agency opted not to extend its agreement with IBM. We understand these layoffs are scheduled to take effect on September 4. The Rocket Center location primarily provides support for federal technology and consulting programs.

THE words we heard are turning out to be true.

IBM is basically collapsing. Some broadcasters learn early about the impending mass layoffs.
