Crimes Are Crimes

Crossposted from Tux Machines

Today and tomorrow there will be network-related works in London where we have the server, so IRC might be impacted. In the past 7 hours we served over a million requests in this site alone, so it was slow (response time could be 10 seconds or more). We can safely assume those were bots, maybe even a DDoS attack (attempt thereof). In the past we suffered from DDoS attacks for sure; we verified the malicious intent.

We want London to deal with actual crimes, such as DDoS attacks and online abuse/Hate Crimes against my wife, even death threats.

DDoS attacks are cyber crimes.

What was done to my wife and I qualifies as crimes.

Death threats are serious crimes.

Does London correctly prioritise anything other than money?
