Doing a Carlin

Take it easy

Carlin

Carlin, the famous one (George), died a long time ago, but to this very day I still enjoy some Carlin skits.

One that really stayed with me concerns the world or society or his country as a “freak show”.

Instead of getting upset about things or becoming too emotionally attached to them he watches blunders, takes notes, then makes jokes or stories about them.

I quite like this.

When bad things happen… write about it. Turn that into a story.

Manchester City Council will have many stories about it soon.
