HIS short article recently mentioned the menace of ‘white elephant’ datacentres which serve little function, they help inflate the bubble that’s killing our economy
In attempting to find out how many “datacentres” per se are based in Manchester, I got this map:

What % of them perform actually useful functions? What % serve a foreign and maybe very hostile purpose? Should we mind?

This was leaked online this month:

HE nation’s police resources are limited. Regardless of how one feels about the above “cause”, holding up a sign or placard or whatever hardly puts anyone at risk.
Contrariwise, when people receive death threats calculated to terrorise (whether acted upon or not is irrelevant), there is action the cops can and should take.
It’s saddening to see how police resources get misallocated.

HIS morning we have a short (non-paywalled) outline of yesterday’s friendly match won by Enzo’s Manchester City. It’s an official video, not some random thing like whatever I shared yesterday.
Well done, Enzo.
It is his first win, hopefully one of hundreds of wins to come. If it’s in the “hundreds”, not a “hundred”, then it implies his contract in the club gets extended, i.e. he has done a satisfactory job as head coach.

ODAY I made this important announcement about something that had been brewing since last August, i.e. 12 months ago. I won’t comment on this any further at this time.
It already seems abundantly revealing that some people squirm, realising they made have made a critical error – one they will pay a lot for.
Today we plan to stay home. I want to publish many articles. Soon, maybe as soon as next week, this blog will reach the 3,000 blog posts milestone. That will be newsworthy. This blog began in 2004, i.e. 22 years ago.

alf a decade ago Balabhadra (Alex) Graveley from Microsoft and GNOME was arrested for strangulation in Texas [1, 2]. He was arrested at his father’s home, which is where he lived. His attorney in the US later admitted to me that he had been arrested and charged. Two years later Balabhadra (Alex) Graveley spoke to Matthew J. Garrett, another GNOME-affiliated booster of Microsoft and of LLM slop. They used the exact same lawyer and same barrister to file a frivolous lawsuit against me, only weeks apart from Garrett’s realisation that he would be in financial problems [1, 2] because he could not afford the lawsuit.
This conduct by the solicitors, the barrister and their American clients, Balabhadra (Alex) Graveley and Matthew J. Garrett, will be scrutinised by the High Court. Yesterday I lodged the papers as part of the first step in a process that I am familiar with and have done since July 2025. This means my wife and I lodged 4 cases, this is the first in 2026.
At the end people will see that the lawsuits funded by third parties to the tune of one and a half million dollars are meant to chill, not to be won, as there’s nothing to win anyway (except hopes of my silence).

HIS morning when I went to town I took an umbrella with me. Rare stuff. Thankfully it was small and I never needed to use it. Later, in the afternoon, I got caught in the rain during a jog, so I ran back home.
Now there’s some strong wind (not gale force, but strong nonetheless) and more rain. The city needs this. The grass everywhere looks like it’s dying.
Climate change is real. Check the food prices.

began ‘breeding’ shells or snails last year. There are now well over 100 of them. They seem happy. I need to feed them more and more over time because their total number continues to increase. To me, they’re nature near the desk. They have their little colony and they don’t interfere with anything. I’ve never seen even one that is dead… so far.
How could I have missed this hobby of adorable pets (creatures) all those years?
